This week we:
-Worked on learning our "Letter Sounds" and "Vowels of the Alphabet" songs.
-Continued practicing our quiet signals and walking in line
-Continued our practice of the letter Aa
-Began our math topic of sorting objects, learning the vocabulary words "same", "different", and "does not belong".
-Started reading stations, where we buddy read stories, play letter games and use play-doh, and complete different handwriting activities.
-Checked out books from the media center.
-Traced first and last names to make name hats.
-Practiced choosing a topic in writing, thinking of something that has really happened.
-Started afternoon rotating groups, completing puzzles, writing in journals, visiting classroom centers, and doing small group work with Mrs. Colwell.
