Shapes, If You Take a Mouse to School

As we returned from winter break, we began our January/February Geometry unit in math. For this activity, the students traced the sides and corners of shapes with different colors of markers.

We also began a unit about Laura Numeroff, who writes the "If You Give a ..." series. After we read If You Take a Mouse to School, the students all wrote and drew about their favorite part of the story.
