Stateside Elementary School entered a tree in the Festival of Trees this year. Each grade level made a different type of ornament to adorn the tree. Kindergarten was tasked with making beaded trees. All the students made an ABC pattern of red, white, and blue beads onto a pipe cleaner. After all the beads were on the pipe cleaner, the ornaments were twisted into a tree shape and ready to decorate the tree!
To recognize and celebrate our community's veterans and their contributions to our country, we worked on some Veterans' day crafts. Everyone stamped their hand to make a giant American flag. Each student also made a veteran figure, complete with cammies, boots, and cover!
