Power to the Powell Fundraiser

Patriot families,

We would like to let everyone know about an upcoming event that our Stateside family will be participating in.  Stateside Elementary will be supporting ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) with a team that will be walking in the “Walk to Defeat ALS” on April 16, 2011 at UNCW.  This hits close to home for our school. Therefore, we are supporting the cause and trying to make a difference.  We will be collecting money for ALS, and placing it in our designated box in the classroom.  If you would like to donate, please place the money in a zip lock bag and put into the money log pouch that is located in your child’s binder.  Whichever class raises the most money gets an ice cream party!  Anyone may join our team in support of this cause.  The more the merrier!
