We had a wonderful day in kindergarten today! Please remember the following items to keep our classroom operating smoothly, especially during these often overwhelming first days:
1. Pack your child a snack every day, separate from his/her lunch box.
2. Any money should be sent in your child's money pouch, and the money log needs to be filled out so I know what the money is for.
3. Send your child to school wearing their pink necklace every day.
4. Nightly homework will begin this Wednesday. Please complete in spiral notebook and initial on homework calendar each day when completed.
During these first few weeks of school, I encourage you to ask your child about new friends they have made, rules of the classroom, stories we have read, and games we have played. Reviewing some of these items at home helps improve your child's memory and communication skills.
